Spring Stewardship Day
Make a difference conserving the Bears Ears landscape! Join us Friday, April 10 for Spring Stewardship Day in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management.
We are looking for volunteers to help with these projects:
- Sand Island: use shovels and other hand tools to smooth cut riverbank. Fence-lifting and installing fencing material, carrying fencing materials into and across a wash, walking about 1 mile round trip.
- Wolfman/Mudhouse: build fencing around the parking area to reign in creep. Transport additional fencing material to Mudhouse for future fence construction.
Meet at 9am at the Bears Ears Education Center (567 W Main St, Bluff, UT 84512).
Please bring: lunch, water, snacks, closed toe shoes, sun protection (hats, sleeves, sunscreen), work gloves if you have them. We'll provide tools and fencing materials and water refills.
To participate:
1.Register below, choosing the project you prefer.
2. Fill out the photo release form.
3. Complete the liability waiver.
