Jump start your kid's summer at Bears Ears Summer Camp, June 19-21, 2025!

Session 2, June 19-21, 2025 is available to local San Juan County and/or Indigenous youth 13-17 years old.

Bears Ears Summer Camp includes three days and two nights of rafting the San Juan River from Sand Island to Mexican Hat, day-hiking in Bears Ears National Monument, and sharing Indigenous Knowledge. Participants will raft, hike, and camp while building connection to place and each other. All meals included. 

**Registration is FREE for San Juan County or Indigenous Youth.** If eligible, use code "Local" when registering.

Join us for our next monthly star party with telescope viewing, on Thursday, June 26 at 9:30pm at the Canyon Country Discovery Center in Monticello, Utah! Come enjoy spectacular dark skies and learn more about the cosmos. 

Bears Ears Partnership has stepped forward to organize and host the 2025 Pecos Conference, August 7-10. This annual conference is an opportunity to share the latest updates on archaeology in the US Southwest and northern Mexico.
