August Star Party

Save the date for our next monthly star party with telescope viewing, on Saturday, August 23, Location TBA. Come enjoy spectacular dark skies and learn more about the cosmos. 

All experience levels welcome. We will provide several telescopes for you to use, and you are welcome to bring your own. BEP staff will share stargazing tips and point out celestial features. Please bring a red light and chair or blanket for sitting. 

Thanks to support from Utah Arts and Museums, BEP will be hosting monthly star parties around each New Moon, in addition to other Dark Sky programming. Save the date for September 19 at Edge of the Cedars Park, and October 21 at Goosenecks State Park.
