Matty has built a global outdoor events company, dipped into corporate America, and eventually realized his true calling was simpler (and dustier): helping people connect with the land in meaningful, respectful, and awe-filled ways.
At Bears Ears Partnership, Matty brings his background in community-building, storytelling, and outdoor adventure to support stewardship and education efforts. He believes the desert has plenty to teach—especially if we show up with open minds, dirty boots, and snacks to share.
When he’s not working, he’s probably out biking, backcountry skiing, or plotting his next climbing trip—coffee in hand and a grin that says, “This is livin'!!”
